Thornback & Peel make hand-printed home accessories that combine traditional and contemporary style with playful, surreal designs. Started in 2006 by Juliet Thornback and Delia Peel, the company is based in London’s Cockpit Arts Studio.
At first sight the Ice dining table almost seems to defy gravity. The glass top appears to rest, or even float, on its three angled legs in such a way that you wonder how the structure doesn’t collapse. The answer is in its clever construction, and a technique known as ultraviolet bonding.
